The Ultra Swivel Bather® is width adjustable from 26″ to 30″ (66cm to 76cm) in the same way as previous models, by turning the grey end covers. This makes it easy to adjust to suit the width of the bath without having to separate frame sections and adjusting C-clips, and retains the one piece base frame for rigidity. The product also benefits from four “positioning screws” that secure against the inside walls of the bath to offer added security and prevent the frame moving on the bath.
The Ultra Swivel Bather is made of aluminium for corrosion resistance and longevity, with an anodised swivel pin so that no maintenance is required. The product is sufficiently strong for a maximum user weight rating of 25 stone (160kg) and the locking lever can now be changed to suit left or right handed users. The locking lever locks at every 90 degree position.
