Locomotor Ultra Slide Sheets

The ULTRA range of slide sheets is available in seven sizes and
allows three basic patient handling tasks without the need to lift
and without the risk of sheering the patient’s skin. The
multidirectional glide and ultra low friction of the sheets makes
sliding transfers extremely easy to perform. Can be used with
sliding boards to ease a sliding transfer from chair to wheelchair
etc or to aid lateral transfer from bed to trolley using a bridging
board.
All Sliding Sheets can be autoclaved or washed above 160°F.
Benefits:
• Turning a patient: for X-Ray, surgical procedures, recovery,
pressure care, change of dressing or cleaning.
• Sitting a patient up on a bed: for feeding, relief of chest pain etc...
• Moving a patient on or off a bed, trolley or examination couch
without painful sheering to the buttocks.

Locomotor Quilted Uni-Slide

Available in two sizes, the Uni Slide prevents patients from
sliding down in a chair or bed. The tubular Uni Slide allows
an assisted slide back in to the chair or back up the bed, and
then locks to prevent the patient sliding forward.

Locomotor Quilted Flat Uni Slides

Developed as an alternative to the tubular Uni Slides, the
quilted Flat Uni Slide is available in two sizes and incorporates
a series of handholds which allow a positive grip when
assisting the patient.
