Terms and Conditions of Trading
                                                             Minimum Order Value: £10 (nett goods value)
                                                             Pricing and Specifications:
                                                             All  Goods  in  this  catalogue  are  subject  to  being  unsold  and  alteration  in  price  or
                                                             specification without prior notice. Prices in this catalogue refer to single units. In some
                                                             instances the units are only supplied at this price in pre-packaged dispatch quantities.
                                                             Value Added Tax is not included in the price list and will be charged at the appropriate
                                                             rate  on  invoice  (goods  plus  carriage  and  handling).  Certain  items  are  allowable
                                                             for  zero  VAT  rating.  Charities  may  benefit  from  this  provided  the  relevant  VAT
                                                             Zero  Rate  Certificate  is  completed  and  the  goods  are  allowable  for  zero  rating  by
                                                             H.M.  Customs  and  Excise.  Certificates  are  available  from  SmitCare  on  request.
                                                             Measurements and Weights:
                                                             Where stated are approximate and are not meant to be exact.
                                                             Copyrights where applicable are shown.
                                                             Carriage & handling: Orders of £150 or over (nett value) carriage paid U.K. mainland
                                                             only except postcodes listed in Appendix 1 below, where carriage charges attract 100%
                                                             surcharge. Orders to U.K. mainland with a goods value below £150 will be subject to an
                                                             £8.50 charge (Appendix 1 surcharge applies) to cover administration, packing and carriage.
                                                             All deliveries to Northern Ireland will be subject to an £8 consignment charge; orders
                                                             of £150 or over will be carriage paid, with orders under £150 charged at cost, with a
                                                             minimum of £8.50. It is an H.M Customs requirement that VAT is charged on Carriage
                                                             & Handling. All other countries and off-shore islands, including Channel Islands and
                                                             Isle of Man, ex-warehouse at cost.
                                                             Forwarding: By a National Carrier or by Post at our discretion. Next day service available
                                                             at £14.50 for 1st carton plus £4.50 per carton thereafter U.K.
                                                             Mainland only (see Appendix 1 opposite). N.B. This charge is applicable irrespective of
                                                             order value and should be arranged by 12 noon on day of despatch. Goods are normally
                                                             despatched within 5 working days from receipt of order and delivered within the next 5
                                                             days.
                                                             Payment: Approved credit accounts 30 days from date of invoice.
                                                             Appendix  1:  Postcodes  where  100%  surcharge  applies:  HS1-9,  IM,  IV1-49,  IV51-56,
                                                             KA27-28,  KW1-3,  KW5-17,  PA20-49,  PA60-78,  PH17-26,  PH30-44,  TR21-25,  ZE1.
                                                             Carriage paid if oder value over £300.
                                                             Receipt of Goods:
                                                             All packages must be checked on arrival for damage and appropriately signed for.
                                                             Should there be cause to raise a claim our offices must be notified within 24 working
                                                             hours of the delivery. Carriers will not consider claims outside these parameters. Should
                                                             examination not  be  possible  on  receipt,  goods  should  be  signed  for  unexamined
                                                             or  refused.
                                                             All  Claims  must  be  notified  by  telephone  and  confirmed  in  writing  within  3  days.
                                                             This is vitally important as any claim is made on the purchasers’ behalf.
                                                             Booked  Deliveries  If  customers  require  deliveries  booked-in  there  will  be  a  charge
                                                             levied in addition to applicable carriage charges at carriers cost.
                                                             Damage:  Any  parcels  must  be  signed  for  as  above.  If  you  are  unable  to  check
                                                             the contents  on  delivery  the  consignment  must  be  signed  for  as  ‘unexamined’
                                                             and  any damage notified within 24 hours.
                                                             Discrepancy: Shortages on delivery must be notified within 3 days of delivery.
                                                             Loss: Non-delivery of goods must be notified within 10 days of Invoice /Advice Note date.
                                                             Returns:  Please  telephone  our  Customer  Services  department  if  you  wish  to
                                                             return goods. We reserve the right to charge a handling fee of 10% on goods ordered
                                                             in error. Goods will only be eligible for credit if they are in boxed, resaleable condition.
                                                             Return carriage costs of incorrectly ordered goods is at the expense of the customer.
